Hello! I am Diana Oh (full name: Yea Bin Diana Oh, they/them, parent pronoun: Zaza) and I describe myself as open channel to the art that feels good to my body and am driven most by pleasure, mutual care, and keeping things heart-centered.
I am a Creator of Performance, Installation, Music, Concert, Documentary Film, Multi-Media Hybrid Art, Gathering, Ritual, Party, and enjoy birthing New Mediums. I also identify as a Clairvoyant (a title passed onto me by my political revolutionist and persecuted South Korean Clairvoyant father). My Korean name is Yea Bin Oh which translates into "Artistic Light" and my Jewish uncle calls me "Binski." It is to this day, my absolute favorite nick name. Passionate about healing and queering processes, I am a Refinery29 Top LGBTQ Influencer, and the First Queer Korean-American interviewed on Korean Broadcast Radio. I am also the Creator and Co-Director of The Infinite Love Party (an intentional barefoot, potluck dinner, dance party, and sleepover for QTPOC and Their Allies produced at the Bushwick Starr described by the New York Times as "part sexy" "part crunchy" "part return to childhood" "a Hallmark of a Diana Oh event" "where the agenda was the joyous freedom to be yourself, whatever pronouns you use." ), {my lingerie play} (ten underground national performance installations in my lingerie staged in an effort to provide a safer, more courageous world for women, queer, trans, and non-binary humans to live in culminating into a concert of Oh's music: Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, TOW and Creative Capital Fellowship Recipient, NY Times Critics Pick) CLAIRVOYANCE (an installation, concert, and tree-planting series centering Queer Magic in Harvard Yard, the Boston Public Library, The Institute of Contemporary Art, The Harvard Arboretum produced by A.R.T.), Asian People Are Not Magicians (mic.com), My H8 Letter to the Gr8 American Theatre (The Public Theater), The Dope North Star Workshop, The Gift Project (a Documentary Film and Culminating Live Rock Concert centering and celebrating Elders of Marginalized Experience or Identity with songs written for them as Gifts produced by All for One and soon to be released by PBS and All Arts TV, The Oh Family Concert (An All Arts/PBS Commission to be released Spring 2023). My work has been featured in The National, Huffington Post, People, Upworthy, MTV, npr, VICE and I have been interviewed on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange about why Catcalling Sucks. I am a Sundance Institute Fellow, a TOW Fellow, NY Community Trust Helen Merrill Award Recipient, Art Equity Fellow, and a Steinberg Award Recipient. But most importantly: my psychiatric service dog is on Instagram as @ProfessionalLapDog and I hope you get to meet him.
